Our Story
Build Firm is a residential construction company founded by Sam Henderson. Sam is a qualified and licensed builder who grew up on the North Shore of Auckland. He has been involved in high end residential projects for a number of years, from apprentice, to qualified builder, to site foreman.
After gaining the necessary expertise and experience, he decided to set up a building company exclusively dedicated to providing Kiwis with high-quality architectural homes and renovations.

Our Process
- After you contact us, we’ll start by arranging a phone call or in-person meeting where we can discuss your project in detail.
- After that, we’ll come up with a free, no-obligation estimate of the timeline and costs involved and send it to you.
- Once you’ve given us the go-ahead, we can set up clear communication lines between everyone involved in the project.
- Your conceptual design plans and working drawings will be completed, led by the architect
- At this point you’ll need to apply to the local council for resource consent.
- At last, the build itself will begin! This is where we come into our own. Before we do any work on site, we’ll give you a clear, updated estimate or quote of the costs and time involved.
- During the build we will meet at key stages to confirm things such as colours, finishes and fixtures.
- When the build is complete, we’ll put the finishing touches on your new home or renovation. We will finally assist you in a Compliance Certificate Application and organise a final inspection!
